Artist Statement
Leah's current projects include creating delicate metal sculptures and a series of paintings on the beauty of aging skin; helping businesses articulate and deliver their messages efffectively (with Intuitive Strategy); and writing and preparing a new book (How Not To Renovate A Home) for print in Fall 2009. Additionally, Leah creates a series of whimsical and nurturing greeting cards.
When asked what she plans for the future, Leah responded, "Creativity is always evolving. Every day I create, through thought, word, and action. I try not to limit the creative forces by turning my life into a series of repetitive tasks, rather I delight in the moments of inspiration that guide me to new adventures. I create and I release - and everything I create, I create with love."

Bio
Background
Leah focused her university training on the application of fine art skills in a commercial environment. After graduating in 1991, Leah further expanded her horizons by exploring the applicability of her creativity in a corporate environment. Leah invested a number of years in developing international client liaison, product management, product development, and general management skills. The resulting products and services helped international corporations in the financial services, lodging, and software industries.
In 1999, Leah set aside her corporate endeavors to seek a more complete appreciation of the Earth's many cultures. She traveled the world, lived abroad, and gathered an understanding of the inherent similarities of all humans. "Communication is an important key!" Leah said. "If we can bridge our differences and find points of common interest, then we can work together to build a sustainable and enjoyable future."
Consistently, Leah's experiences reinforced the opportunity to express creativity in all aspects of life. When Leah returned to America, she fully embraced her role as a creative force. Honoring diverse aspects of her natural abilities, she has worked as a mother, a consultant, a renovator, and an artist.

Philosophy
It is an artist's duty to create responsibly. A piece that starts as the self-expression of one person can impact the lives of many.
